Simple & Delicious!!
Ingredients
Rice - 2 cups
White urad dal - 1/4 cup
Fenugreek seeds - 1 teaspoon
Recipe
1. Wash rice & dry on cotton cloth.
2. Dry grind rice, dal & fenugreek in mixer or from mill.
3. Soak flour in water for overnight... or can soak for 30 mins if argent. Mixture should be thin...pouring consistency.
4. Add salt & if want, add ginger, garlic, chilli paste.
5. Heat non stick pan & spread little oil with tissue paper.
6. Pour the mixture from outer side to inner side.
7. Apply oil & cook from both sides.
8. Amboli can serve with sauce, vatana usal,chutney.

Do I also need to wash the dal?
ReplyDeleteNo need to wash dal. Just wipe with dry cloth to ensure clean dal. Thanks

ReplyDeleteRefrigeration is better option. U can keep in airtight tin. I always refrigerate amboli flour.
